Overview
Fìkh Læl Ěd was founded durring the early 11th century, by Vrimszeh Trgêrí. The establishment of Fìkh Læl Ěd was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Læl Ěd's construction back out of the project. Vrimszeh Trgêrí pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Læl Ěd was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Fìkh Læl Ěd was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Læl Ěd is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Fìkh Læl Ěd is buildings are arranged within a network of crampt cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Fìkh Læl Ěd's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Fìkh Læl Ěd's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
Right off the bat Fìkh Læl Ěd hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Many of those buildings are schools, scriptoriums, and even one college. One can only wonder what knowledge the town has come into.
Civic Infrastructure
Fìkh Læl Ěd has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Fìkh Læl Ěd.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Læl Ěd's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Fìkh Læl Ěd has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
While Fìkh Læl Ěd has a public leader, the real authority is hidden from outsiders. This ruler may draw their authority from rationales unacceptable to outsiders, they may have cowed the public authority into obedience, or they may have a mutually beneficial private arrangement with the official ruler.
Fìkh Læl Ěd's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
In Fìkh Læl Ěd most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.
Fìkh Læl Ěd's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Chronomancy energies of tier 1 via mimery.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Fìkh Læl Ěd was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Fìkh Læl Ěd. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Fìkh Læl Ěd lost 230 people, 233 livestock, and 30 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 83, when members of Fìkh Læl Ěd's militia enacted an operation to locate a particular ruin. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Fìkh Læl Ěd's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Fìkh Læl Ěd's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
